Featured Job: Sports Performance Coach Position in Suffolk
Our In Motion at Harbour View clinic busier than ever, which means that it’s time for our staff to grow to meet the demand of our clients in Suffolk and Western Hampton Roads. Our Sports Performance group at Harbour View is pleased to announce they are hiring for a part-time Sports Performance Coach to help manage the burgeoning sports program.
This position is designed for a motivated individual interested in every aspect of sports performing from team training to marketing and program growth. We place a heavy emphasis on continuing education and the latest methods, so this position would also have responsibilities for conducting staff education, journal reviews, research and in-services. On a personal level, all applicants should be able to communicate effectively with other performance specialists, physical therapists, athletic trainers and sports medicine physicians.
Our perfect candidate has – or is working towards – a Bachelors of Science degree in a Health Science related field. CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required, and CSCS or other sports performance certifications are a plus. Prior experience with training athletes one-on-one or in a team setting is highly recommended!
