If you’re a young player rising up through the ranks of high school, AAU and college hoops, you need to hone your strength and fitness. If you’re an older player wanting to regain a quick first step or to play smarter and injury free, you need a fitness check with our expert trainers.
In Motion’s team of performance specialists and trainers can put together the basketball program that’s right for you, your position and your game. In Motion tests to find your baseline and determine what needs work to make you a better player.
Our Program
In Motion’s Basketball program includes:
- Flexibility and Strength Assessment
- Musculoskeletal Evaluation
- Seven Point Functional Movement Screen (FMS)
This screening helps our sports performance specialists to identify neuromuscular deficiencies. Pinpointing an athlete’s weaknesses enables us to design a program tailored to correcting those issues. - Injury Prevention
Basketball is a high-impact, physically demanding game. Knees, shoulders, and backs are constantly straining in action – placing them at risk for injury. Our program focuses on strategies for preventing the most common basketball injuries. - Home Drills
At the end of the day, every athlete goes home with a personalized list of home exercises designed to help boost speed, power, flexibility and core stability.
This fall In Motion Sports Performance is opening its doors early to athletes who would like to get a head-start on their pre-season jump training. During a one hour training session you will get small group attention (4 or less per session) and individualized drills and work-outs. These work outs will focus on building power, strength, and jump height with:
- Movement Prep
- Agility Drills
- StrengthT raining
- Power Drills
- Pillar/Core Strength Training
- Vertical Jump Training
Our highly skilled and trained staff are always available to address any biomechanical issues which may cause injury or prevent performance improvement.
Pricing
For the pre-season training, we are able to offer special pricing to any basketball athlete for $10/session. Sessions are by appointment only and this offer is good from October 1st – January 1st.
